Unfortunately, with every hair removal treatment, maintenance is needed because the body naturally over time produces new hair cells. We encourage our patients to have maintenance treatments on a routine basis to treat new growth. For the facial area maintenance is generally recommended every 3-4 months. For the body, some patients only need 1-2 maintenance treatments a year, but can range from 1-4 treatments a year. Some patients find this difficult to commit to.
