Called the Silhouette InstaliftTM, this new in-office procedure is minimally invasive and lifts the deep tissue of the face without the need for surgery, scars or anesthesia. The areas to be lifted are marked and small amounts of local anesthetic will be administered. Each end of the FDA-approved suture is then passed through the deep tissue with a cannula (blunt tipped needle) to
 each suture exit point. The tissue is then elevated and secured by the anchoring effect of the bidirectional cones on the underside of the skin. This lifts the cheeks and jowls immediately. The results actually improve with time due to the fact that the material stimulates the body to produce collagen. The new collagen increases and restores volume in the mid face complimenting the lift for even longer lasting results. The improvement in facial shape will last 18 months.

This is also compatible with and complimentary to other aesthetic facial procedures. It can also be done in addition to fillers, Botulinum Toxin, Ultherapy®, Thermage® or other energy base devices without interference. This procedure is ideally suited to men and women who are interested in improving their appearance without major surgery and with little, if any, downtime.

After care for the procedure is simple: ice for a short while and avoid strenuous activity for 2 weeks. Fees for the procedure depend on how many threads will
 be inserted, although the average is 3 on each side. Although you can have some swelling and bruising, the after effects are similar and sometimes even less than with injectable fillers. Discomfort from the procedure is also comparable to or less than injectable fillers.
