Winterize Your Skin

Cold weather is just around the corner so now is the time to think about “winterizing” your skin! As the weather changes our skin changes right along with it and we need to often augment or alter our skin care regimen to facilitate the changes that occur. This could mean switching to a heavier moisturizer, or if acne prone, augmenting the moisturizer you use with a hyaluronic acid based gel. Alpha hydroxy moisturizers and treatment topicals can also help to exfoliate those dead skin cells that accumulate and cause our skin to look dull, so if you haven’t been into Skinfo lately, consider updating or tweaking your current treatment plan now so you are ready for the cold winter months ahead.
