REDNESS AND SWELLING: You may experience a slight warm sensation for up to an hour post-treatment. Redness and swelling will vary depending on the sensitivity of your skin. Redness and swelling generally resolve in 1-2 days but can last longer.

SKIN WOUND, INFECTION, OR SCARRING: An open or closed skin wound may occur. Any unexpected wound, pain, redness, or pus should be reported to your treatment provider promptly and may need additional treatment. Skin wounds may lead to permanent scarring, even if treated. HYPOPIGMENTATION AND HYPERPIGMENTATION: Changes in the pigmentation (too little or too much) of the skin may occur after treatment. Any change in color of the skin that is not expected should be reported to your treatment provider and may need additional treatment. MUSCLE PAIN AND SPASMS: You may experience temporary muscle pain, tenderness/soreness, or muscle spasms after treatment. This is typically temporary and resolves within a few hours to days.

ALLERGIC REACTION: It is possible that an allergic reaction to an anesthetic, topical cream, adhesives, or oral medication can occur.

The Emface® procedure is straightforward and hassle-free. Apart from cleansing your face, there is no need for any pre- or post-preparation. During the treatment, you will lie down while the applicators are placed over the designated areas for a duration of 20 minutes. While undergoing the treatment, you may experience muscle contractions and a heating sensation similar to that of a hot stone massage.

Typically, the treatment protocol for Emface® involves scheduling four sessions, each lasting for 20 minutes, with a gap of 5-10 days between each treatment.
